We therefore offer you a non-binding cost estimate for a possible overhaul of French Solex carburettors.
(e.g. for Solex BISA, PBISA, PBIC, TMMIA, TBIA, CEEI, SCIC, CSIC, CISAC, CIC, SEI & SEIA, HSA for Citroën, Simca-Chrysler, Talbot, Peugeot classic cars)
After your carburettor has been sent, it will be comprehensively diagnosed and we will inform you in detail afterwards. The repair/overhaul will then be carried out with your consent (after a cost estimate).
1. -> Pre-cleaning with special cleaner (from outside and inside)
2. -> Sandblasting all housing parts with walnut or glass bead granules
(Float housing, starter flap cover, throttle body parts, housing cover + small parts)
3. -> Cleaning in an ultrasonic bath with a special ultrasonic cleaner
4. -> Procurement of necessary spare parts (membranes, seals, float needle valves...)
5. -> Assembly according to manufacturer's instructions
6. -> Adjust (basic setting) according to the manufacturer's instructions
