Very poor to no idling, cold starting problems, poor warm up, no power or engine stalling. All of this can indicate a faulty/moved float needle valve seat. Because the needle seat has moved upwards, the fuel level drops, which significantly affects engine running.

We therefore offer you a professional repair of the float needle valve seat including a new needle seat (with or without oversize) for Solex / Pierburg 4A1 carburetors.

After sending your carburettor float housing, we will extensively check it and renew it.
(Please also send us the float including the needle valve. We will then set the float level for you at the same time)

2. -> Sandblasting with walnut granules (quick and effective removal of old resinous residues and deposits)
3. -> Cleaning in an ultrasonic bath with a special ultrasonic cleaner
4. -> Pressing in the new needle valve seat (with original Pierburg press-in/testing tools)
5. -> Measurement & testing (height test and float stroke measurement with Pierburg special tool according to manufacturer's instructions)
